The Manville Arts Council is currently sponsoring an ongoing writer’s workshop for writers of all genres and skill levels. The group meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at the Manville Public Library. Participants are encouraged—but not obligated—to bring up to two pages of current work to share with the group (five copies).
“April is the cruelest month,” wrote the great poet T.S. Eliot. Yet April is also National Poetry Month, an opportunity to enjoy the diverse forms and styles of this under-appreciated art form. To commemorate, the Manville Arts Council will host a one-time Poetry Workshop on April 6. Participants will examine several forms of poetry and the work of diverse poets. The group will experiment with writing poems in different forms. Facilitated by Beth Borrus, MFA Poetics.
Join Beth on Thursday April 6th at the Manville Library, 100 S 10th Avenue. All are welcome!
