On Friday, May 4th at 6 pm, the Manville Arts Council will open the Manville Public Library doors for the Opening Night Reception of its 3rd Annual Art Expo. With a record number of submissions, the Manville Arts Council has selected works from over 25 artists for this year’s showcase. Opening Night visitors will have a comfortable viewing area from which to enjoy a wide array of styles and media, along with an opportunity to meet and talk with the artists who created their favorite pieces. Sculpture and paintings, as well as photography and mixed media pieces, give this show its unique appeal. The festivities are open to the public. Refreshments will be served. Artwork will remain on display for two weeks, ending on May 18th.
“On behalf of the Manville Arts Council, we are honored that New Jersey based artists have embraced the Art Expo with such excitement and anticipation. This year we had a record 75 pieces submitted for consideration. This exhibit is truly a wonderful representation of the kind of talent that lives and thrives in the Garden State.”
— Heather Ball, Manville Arts Council President
“In three quick years, the Manville Arts Council’s Art Expo has become Manville’s premier showcase for talented artists in our area. The MAC’s vision of making the arts accessible to everyone has inspired artists, art lovers and our community alike. Each year the anticipation builds for this show and I am looking forward to viewing the art on display.”
— Mayor Richard M. Onderko
