Art Fun on Community Day 2025!
The MAC proudly participated in Manville Community Day again this year—marking our 10th year of sharing art projects and techniques with the community. Residents of all ages enjoyed learning a new fun, and creative activity: making Friendship Bracelets or Keychain/Backpack Fobs. The most popular color combination was Blue and Gold! See more photos on the Drawing Board News.
2025 MAC Scholarship
The Manville Arts Council Art Scholarship is given to the student who plans to pursue a higher education in the arts of any form. This year’s recipient is Jaime Gavilanes-Diaz. MAC President Christina Bucciero had the honor of awarding Jaime at the MHS Scholarship award ceremony on June 5, 2025. See images of a great night for the arts in Manville.
Homegrown Talent: the Art of Steve Sopko
A lifelong resident of Manville, Steve Sopko draws inspiration from the town that has shaped both his life and his creative journey. After graduating from Manville High School, he pursued studies in commercial advertising at a local art school, where he honed his artistic skills and developed a keen eye for visual storytelling.
