The MAC meets on the first Monday of each month at the Manville Public Library at 6:30 pm. Our meetings are open to the public. Join us for our lively discussions on how to continue promoting the arts in our community. We have three committees that meet on an as-need-basis. Sign up for the Art Expo Committee, Murals on Main Committee or the General Community Events Committee below. Art skills are not necessary to help advance the arts in our area. Your participation and ideas are always welcome.

The Manville Arts Council will be holding our annual elections on Monday, September 17th at 6:30 pm in the Manville Public Library. We invite all interested community members to learn more about the positions that are up for election.
Two positions are up for re-election, Vice President and Secretary. These are volunteer Board positions for a three-year term.
Vice President [term ends 2021] At the request of the President or in the event of his or her absence, the Vice President shall perform the duties and possess and exercise the powers of the President and, to the extent authorized by law, any such Vice President shall have such other powers as the Board may determine and shall perform other duties as may be assigned by the Board. This position may be occupied by more than one person.
Secretary [term ends 2021] It shall be the responsibility of the Secretary to notify all members of special meetings; to circulate all general materials approved by the President and/or Board of Trustees. He/She shall maintain a complete file of all of the official records and correspondence of the Corporation. The Secretary shall attend and keep minutes of all meetings, shall sign with the President/Treasurer any contracts of agreements authorized by the Board of Trustees and, when so authorized or ordered by the Board shall affix the seal of the Corporation. The Secretary shall have all the powers and shall perform all the duties commonly incident to and vested in the office of Secretary.
The Manville Arts Council is a 501c3. Our mission is to foster recognition of and improve accessibility to visual, written, musical, and theatre arts within the Manville community; invigorate the town by creating arts events that attract visitors and local business involvement, spotlights residential and local talent, and create venues to further develop the arts in Manville.
