The Manville Arts Council holds our annual elections in November. We invite all interested community members to learn more about the positions that are up for election. Applying is closed.
The Executive Board seats that are available in January 2024:
PRESIDENT: The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the board and oversees the affairs and general management of the MAC. The President shall preside at all meetings and shall have such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board. The President is responsible for making sure that the organization operates in accordance with all bylaws and ensuring that all MAC programs are undertaken with the idea of moving the organization’s mission forward.
MEDIA AND TECHNOLOGY OFFICER: The Media & Technology officer is responsible for creating and maintaining the MAC’s presence on digital media platforms, as well as managing diverse forms of online communication, including blogs, social media, and marketing. The Media & Technology Officer shall also serve as project manager for web development projects and routine updates, and facilitate communication between the corporation and the general public. He or she shall, in general, perform all duties incident to the office of Information Technology, subject to the control of the Board of Trustees.

The MAC meets on the first Monday of each month at the Manville Public Library at 6:30 pm for Board Members.
Our meetings are open to the public beginning at 7 pm. Join us for our lively discussions on how to continue promoting the arts in our community. We have three committees that meet on an as-need-basis. Sign up for the Art Expo Committee, Murals on Main Committee, or the General Community Events Committee below. Art skills are not necessary to help advance the arts in our area. Your participation and ideas are always welcome.
