Ron Cogan: A Veteran’s Journey to Artistry

Our next artist on display for the Artist Showcase, Ron Cogan, is a 24-year veteran of the US Air Force. His creative journey. began when he retired from the military. One day on his way to work, he was involved in a head-on collision with a tow truck. While recuperating, Ron found solace and inspiration in an unexpected place. Sitting in a wheelchair in the backyard, he picked up a piece of wood and carved a small rose. His passion turned into devoting more time to honing his craft. Now through March 31st, you can view a few of his fantastic pieces on display on our Artist Showcase at Borough Hall, 325 N. Main Street.
